Job summary

Triad Engineering, Inc. in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Engineering Intern to support senior staff on planning, design and implementation of projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in the field and on construction sites, contributing to quality control testing of materials and daily reporting. This position may be full-time or part-time and offers benefits for full-time staff including health, retirement, ESOP, professional development and safety programs.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher; actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Comfort with computer functions.
• Willingness to work in all indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in the field and on construction sites performing quality control testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials.
• Complete and submit daily reports related to observations and testing activities.
• Promptly communicate with site supervisors and project managers of issues or deviations from plans and specifications.
• Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures.
• Work directly on site with our clients.
• Attend job site meetings as needed.
• May occasionally perform lab testing in our offices.
• May rotate throughout Triad's various disciplines to support workload and/or enhance learning.

What You'll Do
