Job summary

Triad Engineering, Inc. seeks a Construction Materials Field Technician in New Stanton, PA to perform quality control testing of concrete and soils, and to support field operations with accurate documentation.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You will work with a team focused on safety, wellness, and service, with benefits including health, 401(k), holidays, ESOP, and company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related training preferred.
  • Concrete and soil testing certifications desirable.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math; valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable communicating with the public; basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control test procedures including concrete and nuclear moisture/density testing.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and Job Hazard Analysis forms.
  • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures.
  • Become familiar with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Notify supervisor or Project Manager of problems or deviations from plans.
  • Frequent exposure to clients; may attend meetings.
  • May perform routine testing in the lab.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine quality control test procedures including concrete and nuclear moisture / density testing

Desired Qualifications

  • Must possess the ability to read, write and perform basic math

  • Must be comfortable performing basic computer functions
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
