Job summary

Triad Engineering, Inc. in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an Engineering Construction Materials Technician (Entry Level) to perform quality control testing in the field on concrete, soils, and related materials.

You will work independently on construction sites, complete daily observation and testing reports, and communicate issues to site supervisors. This role offers training and advancement through technician certifications, a safety-focused environment, and a benefits package including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Construction-related training or technical training desirable.
• Certifications in Concrete and Soil preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete, soils, and other construction materials in the field.
• Complete and submit daily reports of observations and testing activities.
• Communicate issues or deviations from plans to site supervisors and project managers.
• Follow all safety procedures on job sites.
• Work directly on site with clients and attend job site meetings.
• Occasionally perform lab testing in our offices.

Engineering Construction Materials Technician (Entry Level)

As an Engineering Construction Materials Field Technician, your exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Work independently in the field and on construction sites performing quality control testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials.
• Complete and submit daily reports related to observations and testing activities.
• Promptly communicate with site supervisors and project managers of issues or deviations from plans and specifications.
• Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures.
• Work directly on site with our clients.
• Attend job site meetings as needed.
• May occasionally perform lab testing in our offices.
