Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems offers an internship/co-op at GD-OTS locations in the US (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area). You will conduct ergonomic assessments, develop JSAs, participate in Operation Overwatch, and work on a special project TBD.

The role is open to students enrolled in related manufacturing programs. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing teams, learning processes, shadowing experienced staff, and potentially updating procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in related Manufacturing courses or within 6 months of graduation.
• No prior experience required.

• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
• This position is Safety-Sensitive.

Travel Requirements:

• No or very little travel likely.
