Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is offering an internship/co-op at multiple Pennsylvania locations (Scranton and Wilkes-Barre). The role focuses on ergonomics assessments, development of JSAs, participation in special projects, and factory support.

Interns work with manufacturing staff, learn processes, shadow experienced professionals, and assist with documentation. Requires enrollment in related manufacturing coursework and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Must be currently enrolled in related Manufacturing courses or be within 6 months of graduation; No prior experience needed.
• Preferred qualifications: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions.

• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
• This position is Safety-Sensitive.

Travel Requirements:

• No or very little travel likely.
