Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems offers an internship/co-op at GD-OTS locations in the US (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area). You will conduct ergonomic assessments, develop JSAs, participate in Operation Overwatch, and work on a special project TBD.

The role is open to students enrolled in related manufacturing programs. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing teams, learning processes, shadowing experienced staff, and potentially updating procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in related Manufacturing courses or within 6 months of graduation.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to manufacturing employees in the Intern's area of study.
• Assists with operational craft, manual tasks, or project support.
• Learns manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Job shadows other professionals or support staff.
• May assist with documenting and updating procedures or work instructions.
• Handles basic issues and problems.
