Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Planning Intern for Summer 2027 to support its Central States office. You will assist project teams with basic tasks, conduct data collection, and help develop graphics and reports for transportation projects.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in related undergraduate or graduate programs and have interest in transportation and infrastructure, with AutoCAD or MicroStation experience preferred.

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in transportation and infrastructure.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.

• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
• Experience and/or interest in Traffic Modeling
