Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support clinical duties, fill prescriptions, and assist in unit-dose preparation under a Pharmacist.

The position is a 0.1 FTE with weekend rotations; a remote/hybrid option may be available. Candidates must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and be eligible for Pharmacy Intern licensure in ND/MN/WI per state requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited Pharmacy program.
• ND: must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern through the ND Board of Pharmacy.
• MN: must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern through the MN Board of Pharmacy.
• WI: completion of 2nd year of a Pharmacy program; no registration required.

Education Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months (BCLS not required for Interns hired into the following departments: 3012410, 4002410, 2002410, 2042410)


• ND: Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern through the ND Board of Pharmacy


• MN: Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern through the MN Board of Pharmacy


• WI: Completion of 2nd year of a Pharmacy program. No registration required
