Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a data-focused engineer to collaborate across teams, clarify requirements, review options with customers, and help design optimal solutions using SQL, Snowflake, and MongoDB. You will document technical specs and test plans to ensure quality and smooth deployments.

The role calls for programming in C#, Python or Perl, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with Excel and Tableau for data visualization.

Qualifications

• Understanding of core database management methods, covering both relational (SQL, Snowflake) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data stores.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Perl, Python, VBA. (C#, Python preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with ability to plan, drive, and complete projects effectively.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Tableau or other data management and visualization software.
• Familiarity with using AI to automate process, organize data or scripting creation.

• Working towards completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the following areas: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
