Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a data-focused professional to collaborate with stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical solutions. You will help design data-driven outcomes, review options with customers, and document results.

The role emphasizes strong database know-how (SQL, Snowflake, MongoDB), programming (Python, C#, VBA), and advanced Excel/Tableau skills. A BS/MS in engineering, CS, or data science is expected.

Qualifications

• Understanding of core database management methods for SQL, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Perl, Python, and VBA.
• Ability to plan, drive, and complete projects.
• Strong Excel, Tableau or other data management/visualization skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with using AI to automate processes, organize data, or scripting.

Job description

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with various interested parties to identify, clarify, and assemble project requirements
• Review options with the customers to help design the optimal solution
• Identify and document defects and improvements
• Participate with end users in integration and user acceptance testing
• Document (technical specifications, test plans, deployment plans, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Understanding of core database management methods, covering both relational (SQL, Snowflake) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data stores.
• Solid understanding of programming languages such as C#, Perl, Python, VBA. (Python preferred)
• Ability to plan, drive, and complete projects effectively.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Tableau or other data management and visualization software.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with using AI to automate process, organize data or scripting creation.

Education:

• Working towards completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the following areas: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
