Job summary

Gordon Food Service offers a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office in the United States, providing hands-on projects and mentorship to help you grow in the food service industry.

You will collaborate with teams across North America, working with data, finance, accounting, human resources, IT, marketing, supply chain, and sales while gaining exposure to end-to-end workflows and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Arts or related field
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Working alongside our Category Support team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada.

Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas:

• Marketing & Merchandising
• Supply Chain
• Sales

Build a Career:

In the Category Support department by: Learn and apply fundamental concepts of data structuring, reporting frameworks, analytical tools, and data-driven decision-making techniques. Understand, document, and execute end-to-end workflows for item and vendor data acquisition, quality assurance, and lifecycle management. Coordinate Vendor and Material data maintenance activities through cross-functional collaboration with Category, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

Build the Future by:

Being an intern at Gordon Food Service, North America's largest family-owned broadline food service distributor and working alongside our department.
