Job summary

Moog is seeking an on-site Intern, Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering in Blacksburg, VA. You will contribute to key engineering tasks and support engineers and machinists, with exposure to inspection reports, measurement techniques, and 2D prints and tolerances.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a Mechanical/Aerospace engineering program, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be able to relocate for the internship while complying with U.S. export-controlled information requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or other relevant Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0 ; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers and machinists as needed.
• Work experience may include reviewing inspection reports, utilizing different measurement techniques, interacting with 2D prints and tolerances, and/or collecting and reviewing data, based on the student's educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Onsite - Blacksburg, VA The Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering team within our Space and Defense Group is seeking a part-time intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $23.42-$28.92 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
