Job summary

Moog Inc. in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a part-time fall 2026 intern in Embedded Design Engineering to contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks and provide technical support to engineers.

Applicants must be enrolled in EE/CE programs with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be able to relocate for the internship, and have strong teamwork and communication skills; access to export-controlled information is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Work on conceptual design, detail design, testing, and/or analysis based on educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Job Title: Intern, Embedded Design Engineering

Reporting To: Embedded Design Group Manager

Work Schedule: Onsite - Blacksburg, VA

The Embedded Design Engineering team within our Space & Defense Group is seeking a part-time fall 2026 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or other relevant engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

In this role you will:
