Prairie State Energy Campus is seeking a Maintenance Intern to assist with installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining power plant equipment and auxiliary systems. The role emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship and adherence to plant procedures.

The Maintenance Intern will assist with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, overhauling, diagnosing, testing and maintaining all power plant and auxiliary equipment and systems. Provides environmental and safety stewardship. Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations and plant procedures. Assists in maintaining all equipment in optimum operating condition. Assist in reviewing maintenance procedures for plant equipment to ensure consistent and safe operation.

At Prairie State, the base pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $25.00 per hour for the Undergraduate level and $28.00 per hour for the Graduate level.
