Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Enrolled in a two or four-year mechanical technical degree or mechanical engineering program is required.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• 13-week program beginning late May to early August.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment to support plant operations.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory.
• Support environmental, health and safety stewardship.
• Aid in developing maintenance procedures for safe operation.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and plant procedures.
• Assist in requisitioning parts and supplies.
• Attend regular safety meetings.
