Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Intern – Manufacturing Planner for Summer 2027 in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. You will work under supervision to support production planning, analyze data, and develop documentation for process improvements.

The internship is paid, with mentorship and real-world project exposure at a global rail leader focused on urban transit. Applicants must be currently enrolled and available for 40 hours/week on-site through August 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Current Junior or Senior at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite
