Job summary

FIS is inviting applicants to join the 2027 University Summer Internship Program in Jacksonville, FL. The internship runs from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, full-time (40 hours/week) and paid.

You will work on compliance programs, training administration, and regulatory research, with mentors and seminars to develop professionally. Ideal candidates are pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree, rising seniors, fluent in English, and proficient with AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Business Admin, Political Science, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management)
• Rising Senior (graduating Dec 2027 through May 2028)
• Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and applying them to improve productivity
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication
• Adaptability, eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Support compliance programs by maintaining records, tracking activities, and documenting adherence to policies
• Assist with compliance training administration, including monitoring completion and helping colleagues understand requirements
• Conduct basic research related to regulatory requirements, policies, and compliance initiatives
• Help identify, track, and remediate compliance-related issues and drive process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support audits, reviews, reporting, and implementation of controls

As a 2027 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on May 31, 2027 and conclude on August 6, 2027.

About the team:

Join a team dedicated to helping FIS maintain a strong culture of integrity, ethical business practices, and regulatory compliance. The Legal & Compliance organization partners with business, operational, and corporate functions to implement compliance programs, support policy adherence, deliver compliance training, monitor risks, and help ensure business activities align with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards

What you will be doing:

• Support compliance programs by maintaining records, tracking activities, and documenting adherence to established policies and procedures.

• Assist with compliance training administration, including monitoring completion and helping colleagues understand compliance requirements.

• Conduct basic research and gather information related to regulatory requirements, policies, and compliance initiatives.

• Help identify, escape, and track compliance-related issues while supporting remediation and process-improvement efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support audits, reviews, reporting activities, and the implementation of compliance controls.

What you bring:

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant field of study including but not limited to Buisness Administration, Political Science, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management

• Rising Senior (graduating December 2027 through May 2028)

• Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and the ability to apply them effectively to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making.

• Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well independently and within a team
