Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. is seeking a motivated and creative Instructional Design & Training Development Intern to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and professional development training materials.

You will work alongside instructional designers, product leaders, cybersecurity experts, and compliance professionals to develop engaging online training experiences, participating in the full instructional design lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design or Educational Technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in cybersecurity or compliance topics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing online training materials.

CampusGuard is seeking a motivated and creative Instructional Design & Training Development Intern to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and professional development training materials. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience developing online learning content for thousands of end users across colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and other customers. The selected candidate will work alongside instructional designers, product leaders, cybersecurity experts, and compliance professionals to develop engaging online training experiences. The intern will participate in the full instructional design lifecycle, from content planning and storyboard creation through multimedia development, accessibility validation, quality assurance, and course deployment.

Qualifications Required

Currently pursuing a degree in: Instructional Design Educational Technology Curriculum & Instruction Communications Graphic Design Marketing Related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Creative problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Interest in technology and learning Preferred Experience with: Articulate Storyline Video editing tools LMS platforms Graphic design software AI tools Familiarity with accessibility concepts Interest in cybersecurity or compliance topics Portfolio demonstrating design, coursework, or content creation projects
