Nelnet, Inc. invites students to join the Catalyst Internship Program for an in‑person experience from January through December 2027.
You will work 15–20 hours per week during the school year and up to full‑time (40 hours) in the summer, collaborating in teams to explore innovative ideas and test solutions. Responsibilities include researching ideas, presenting findings to project advisors and Nelnet leadership, and documenting progress.

The Catalyst Internship Program (CIP) is designed to address these challenges by dedicating talented students to explore, research, and implement innovative solutions to complex projects. This program is a strategic initiative aimed at driving Nelnet's future success. The Catalyst Internship offers a unique, in‑person experience from January through December 2027. Nelnet's core business hours are Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm and your schedule will fall within these hours while working around your class schedule. This internship requires 15‑20 hours per week during the school year and full‑time (40) hours during the summer months. This is a rare chance to gain long‑term experience and make a real impact!
Pay Rate – $18‑23
