Strategic Education, Inc. is offering a Summer Internship Program in its corporate finance function, based near Minneapolis, MN or Herndon, VA. The role provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development within a publicly traded higher education company.

The student will assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial models, and data analysis, while gaining exposure to GAAP and financial reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance with expected Spring 2027 graduation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
• Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making.
• Supporting budgeting processes.
• Performing other functions and duties as assigned.

Education

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.

Skills Required

• Financial Reporting: Understanding of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
