Job summary

Strategic Investment Group offers a Summer Internship for an Investment Analyst in Arlington, VA. The program runs June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027, with hands-on experience across public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, and real assets.

You will receive mentorship from investment directors and quantitative researchers, engage in a 10-week rotational program, and develop technical, analytical, and presentation skills in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Rising seniors pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Accounting.
• GPA 3.5+ preferred and strong interest in markets and investments.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support investment teams with portfolio analysis and client reporting.
• Assist with research projects and data gathering across asset classes.
• Participate in meetings and presentations to understand portfolio construction and risk management.

Compensation

The 2027 hourly pay rate for this position is listed below. Compensation will be paid based on hours worked and in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws, including overtime requirements where applicable. This role is FLSA non-exempt.

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Hourly Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour (annualized equivalent $83,200)

Housing Assistance Stipend: $2,000

Travel Stipend: Up to $450
