Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a high-potential FP&A Intern in New York to join our corporate finance team. You will gain hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and executive reporting within a global, data-driven company.

The role is designed as a feeder into Acxiom’s early-career finance pipeline, offering mentorship from seasoned professionals, growth in analytical and business communication skills, and a pathway to future full-time roles in FP&A or corporate finance.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A with financial reporting, analysis, and variance explanations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including data gathering and model updates.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards.
• Help prepare materials for monthly and quarterly management reviews.
• Analyze revenue, expense, and key business drivers trends.

Job description

Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Internship details: The internship will begin January 11th, 2027 20-25 hours/week work dedication during the semester and up to 40/week during breaks and summer This internship is located in New York and the intern is expected to work onsite. What You’ll Do

• Support the FP&A team with financial reporting, analysis, and variance explanations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including data gathering and model updates
• Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards
• Help prepare materials for monthly and quarterly management reviews
• Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and key business drivers
• Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional teams to understand financial results
• Take initiative on ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in corporate finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic analysis)

• Ability to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
