Job summary

Vestal Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our design team in St. Louis, MO. You will work with Electrical Designers and Engineers to use design software to create accurate drawings and models based on client specifications.

You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and bring strong computer skills (Revit, AutoCAD) along with excellent written and verbal communication to support project delivery and collaboration across Design and Fabrication teams.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY: The Electrical Engineer Intern will work with Electrical Designers and Engineers to use various design software to create accurate drawings.

Job Duties

• Utilize design software to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D models of custom equipment based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Create project documents as required, including bills of materials, parts lists, etc
• Communicate variances in job scope effectively.
• Ensure technical support is provided to the appropriate teams: Design and Fabrication
• Ensure proper communication with all teams throughout the duration of each project.
• Work diligently to ensure there are no disruptions on projects.
• Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
• Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a Vestal Corporation office.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
• Must be able to move about the office to access office equipment and other office buildings within the Vestal office complex.
• This position frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information.

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program.
