Job summary

GFT is seeking a Construction Management Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting transportation and infrastructure projects.

You will work with experienced managers, engineers, and inspectors, gaining mentorship and field exposure to develop technical and professional skills for a career in construction.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in construction management through coursework, internships, or other work experience.
• Must be able to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Will require outside work in a variety of weather conditions.

This requisition has been created to support outreach efforts associated with these events and to help identify talented individuals interested in internship opportunities within our Construction Services practice.

As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting transportation and infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced construction managers, engineers, and inspectors. Through mentorship, field exposure, and meaningful project assignments, you will develop the technical and professional skills necessary for a successful career in the construction industry.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $28.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
