Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Send weekly credential advisories to media with deadlines and event details
• Respond to media inquiries regarding event and credential information
• Gather information from media to complete credentialing
• Lead credentialing through online system
• Coordinate with security to ensure correct credentials and access
• Organize credentials before event day for smooth check-in
• Create seating charts and name tags for media ahead of events
• Distribute event information including timelines and parking details to media
• Assist in matchday media relations, including press box management and post-match quotes
• Maintain media distribution lists and research new outlets
• Archive and track media coverage with daily clips packs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Summary:

Inter Miami CF is looking for an Intern, Communicationss to support the Communications Department with daily media relations and event press operations.

This is a paid, part‑time internship within our Number 10 Internship program for the 2027 Sprint Season cohort.

Responsibilities:

• Send out weekly credential advisories to media, including application deadlines, event details, and credential portal links
• Respond to inquiries from media regarding event and media credential information
• Gather additional information from media as needed to complete the credentialing process
• Lead credentialing efforts through our online credential system
• Work with security to ensure credentials are printed on time, and all info on credentials is correct, including access
• Organize credentials before event day to ensure a smoothcheck-inprocess
• Create seating charts and name tags for media ahead of each event hosted at Inter Miami’s facilities
• Compile event information, including event timeline and parking information, and distribute to media
• Assist the Communications Department with matchday media relations responsibilities, including press box management, media credentialing, digital content, and post-match quotes.
• Maintain Club’s current media distribution list, and assist in developing segmented lists, along with research of new potential media outlets and blogs to foster relationships.
• Archive and track ongoing media coverage by putting together daily media clips packs.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Journalism, Communication, or a related field, or recently graduated from a related program
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
• Knowledge of global soccer, Inter Miami CF and Major League Soccer is preferred
• Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism within a pro team environment and in media work zones
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Outgoing, engaging and professional demeanor
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency is a plus
• Passion for fútbol is a plus
