Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in New Jersey seeks a high-potential MBA student for the Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) Internship. This three-year rotational program runs June 7–August 13, 2027, with potential for a full-time offer after completion.

Interns interview onsite in Princeton, NJ in 2027 and explore multiple commercial functions across the company. Interns will tackle impactful projects, work with Commercial leaders, and receive formal mentorship.

Position Summary

At Bristol Myers Squibb, we are proud to bring innovative medicines to patients in need. The Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) Internship is seeking future business leaders looking to impact patients’ lives. CLDP interns will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their teams through challenging assignments and collaborate with Commercial leaders and other key stakeholders across the organization. The program is designed to ensure interns gain valuable industry and functional expertise. Candidates advancing to second round will be invited to interview onsite in Princeton, NJ on January 22, 2027. This internship is from June 7-August 13, 2027. Upon completing the summer internship, high performing interns will be eligible to receive a full-time offer to join the CLDP. The CLDP is a 3-year rotational program aimed at developing future leaders at BMS. Associates can tailor their rotational experiences across various commercial functions, including Marketing, Market Access, Global Commercialization, International Marketing, Commercialization AI Strategy & Analytics (CASA), and Sales, to align with career goals and business priorities.

Internship Features

Impactful projects, relevant to current business needs; examples may include: Develop and launch new sales force promotional materials Partner with senior marketing leadership to shape brand strategy and translate positioning into insight-driven promotional messaging for health care providers Translate data insights to create new patient education resources An introduction to brand planning and marketing excellence in the biopharma industry Speaker series with senior leaders on key biopharma business topics and various career paths at BMS Formal mentorship with commercial leaders and current full-time CLDP associates Teambuilding and networking events Final presentation to senior leaders & team members on summer projects.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program during the current school year (graduating by Spring of 2028)
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience (preferably healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical or related industry), not including internships or co-ops preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience in marketing, sales and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated leadership in student, community, or professional organizations
  • The ability to gather, analyze and translate data to gain a deeper understanding of the customer, brand, disease area, market, and competition
  • Ability to lead without authority and possess strong project management capabilities
  • Diverse thinking with innovative ideas and new approaches to maximize opportunities

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The compensation for this position is up to $52.00 per hour. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed. Final individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience and education level.
