Contech Engineered Solutions in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team. You will work closely with the design group, support our field marketing efforts, and help build relationships with civil engineering clients while contributing to our commercial objectives.

As an intern, you will collaborate with department design engineers, perform engineering analyses, and gain hands-on experience under the supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Civil preferred).
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.

Responsabilités

• Project Solutions: Collaborate with design engineers to present project-specific solutions and provide quality designs for site plans.
• Design Assistance: Support engineering designs and calculations under senior engineer supervision.
• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and timely completion.
• Project Support: Assist with submittals, production, and product delivery.
• Site Visits: May visit sites to assess progress and quality.
• Engineering Standards: Maintain and apply standard engineering procedures.

About the Role:

As an Engineering Intern at Contech Engineered Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

• Project Solutions:Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients. Provide quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans.
• Design Assistance: Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers. Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
• Project Support:Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• Site Visits:May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Engineering Standards:Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
