Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is looking for an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience with our design and field teams on civil and environmental projects. You will collaborate with engineers to develop project solutions, assist in designs, and support submittals and delivery while visiting sites as needed.

You’ll build CAD and Office skills, work independently and with others, and contribute to quality engineering documentation under supervision in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Civil preferred.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.

Responsibilities

• Project Solutions: Collaborate with design engineers to present project-specific solutions and integrate products on site plans.
• Design Assistance: Help create engineering designs and plans; perform calculations and analyses.
• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Project Support: Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
• Site Visits: May conduct site visits to assess progress and quality.
• Engineering Standards: Maintain engineering standards and procedures.

About the Role:
