Job summary

Inter Miami CF LLC is seeking a part-time Software Engineer intern to support internal applications, tools and technology solutions. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development and help build scalable solutions that improve internal processes and data accessibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated in CS/SE or related field.
• Experience or coursework in PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python or similar.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and APIs.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web development concepts.
• Git/version control knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal web applications and tools.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using PHP, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Work with SQL and relational databases to retrieve, manage, and structure data used by internal applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the BI team and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support the documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of internally developed applications.
• Research and apply software development best practices and emerging technologies.

Position Summary: Inter Miami CF is looking for an Intern, Software Engineer to support the development of internal applications, tools, and technology solutions. This is a paid, part‑time internship within our Number 10 Internship program for the 2027 Sprint Season cohort.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or recently graduated from a related program
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end development and general software development principles
• Experience or coursework using programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, APIs, and web application development
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development concepts
• Familiarity with Git/version control and software development workflows is a plus
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency is a plus
• Passion for fútbol is a plus

Schedule: Part‑time, fewer than 20 hours per week
