Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a Flight Operations intern to support team goals across Line Operations and the Chief Pilot Office.

This paid, on-site internship will run January through May 2027 and offers exposure to Flight Safety, Operations Customer Center, and Technical Operations. You will learn through hands-on duties, collaborate with diverse teams, and present a team assignment to Flight Operations Leadership at semester end.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate aviation management program.
• Must be able to commit to January 2027 through May 2027.
• Must have minimum 2.5 GPA and maintain it.
• Must work onsite in Atlanta, GA.
• Must be at least 18 years old with work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

A FlightOperations (Aviation Management) intern will assist in achieving divisionalgoals and contributing to the overall success of Delta Air Lines. Interns willbe working with a specific team such as but not limited to Line Operations orthe Chief Pilot Office.

While each internwill be assigned individual duties, all interns are expected to work as a teamto complete a team assignment that will be presented to Flight OperationsLeadership at the end of the semester.

Interns will have theopportunity to learn about other departments, such as but not limited to FlightSafety, Operations Customer Center, Technical Operations, In-Flight Service,and Airport Customer Service.

This is a paidinternship, including additional privileges such as standby travel anywhere inthe Delta system while off duty.

This is not a remoteopportunity, Interns will work on-site at Delta's World Headquarters inAtlanta, Georgia.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Mustbe able to commit to the duration of the internship timeline:
• oJanuary2027 through May 2027
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an aviation management discipline.
• Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be able to maintain the minimum GPA.
• Working as an intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
• Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office.
• Have a competitive GPA and be in good academic standing with your university.
• Should have aspirations of working in the field of Aviation Management.
• Demonstrate competency in skills that include, but are not limited to, collection and analysis of data, reading and summarizing new regulations, and the ability to problem solve quickly.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Possess excellent communication skills, be able to process complicated issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
