Horizon Health is seeking a Intern (MSW) for our BRAND NEW unit called Altru Behavioral Health Center in Grand Forks, ND. This unit will be a 24 bed inpatient unit for both adult and pediatric patients. We are also planning to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026. Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. The MSW Student Intern provides supervised, hands‑on experience in clinical social work practice, applying classroom learning to real-world settings. Interns work alongside licensed clinicians and interdisciplinary teams to support individuals, families, and communities, developing skills in psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and care coordination.
