Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Receptionist for our BRAND-NEW unit called Altru Behavioral Health Center in Grand Forks, ND. This unit will be a 24-bed inpatient unit for both adult and pediatric patients. We are also planning to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026.

Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. Utilizing multi-line telephone system, the Receptionist, answers and directs all incoming calls to

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required.
• 0 – 1 years of related work experience.
• Safety Monitoring of patients experience preferred.
• Experience with a multi-line phone system.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple to moderate instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls; forward calls to appropriate personnel/department in a professional, timely manner.
• Welcomes on-site visitors, maintain sign in log, issue visitor name badges and announce visitor to appropriate personnel/department.
• Screens building access using the electronic door monitoring system if applicable.
• Assists other departments with projects as time permits.
• Safety Monitoring of patients
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
