GEI Consultants in Chicago, IL is seeking an assistant field engineer to support field work, data collection, and site observations. The role includes assisting with AutoCAD drafting, converting field information into final drawings, and preparing technical memos and construction documents.

You will join a collaborative team across North America, contributing to sustainable infrastructure projects and diverse consulting services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Perform field work as needed to support projects, including but not limited to, field observation and data collection, pavement and structural condition assessments, geotechnical and environmental logging and sampling, etc.
• Assist with project drafting in AutoCAD
• Convert field information to final drawings
• Preparation of technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications
