Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring as an Intermodal Equipment Operator in an outdoor yard setting. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to load, unload, and relocate containers between railcars and trucks.

The role requires fortitude for outdoor work, rigorous safety adherence, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following protocols.
