Job summary

ConGlobal in Sharonville, OH is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move shipping containers in our intermodal yard. You’ll operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders and side loaders to load, unload and relocate containers as part of daily logistics.

Starting pay: $20.90–$23.42 per hour. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment screenings, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Open shifts and weekends/holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in logistics/industrial settings.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs on railcars.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis in the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use for safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
