Job summary

ConGlobal ITS is seeking an Intermodal Equipment Operator to support container movement in our Sharonville intermodal yard. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to load, unload, and relocate containers, ensuring safe, on-time freight movement.

Requirements include prior heavy equipment experience, a strong safety record, physical ability to perform demanding tasks outdoors, and availability for weekends/holidays. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in logistics/industrial settings.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis in the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, or cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before/after use for safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
