Job summary

Parsec, LLC, a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is hiring for the Yard Hostler Driver position. This role moves containers and trailers within the terminal yard and directs crane operators, preparing railcars for loading/unloading to trains.

Shift is 6pm–6am with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, voluntary benefits, weekly pay, PTO after probation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating hostler trucks or similar yard equipment preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Ability to work 6pm–6am shift and lift heavy loads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hostler trucks to move containers and trailers within the terminal yard.
• Follow dispatch instructions and prioritize tasks for timely container movement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document maintenance/findings.
