Job summary

Parsec, LLC, a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, is hiring a Railyard Equipment Operator to support intermodal rail terminal operations. You will begin in ground roles, progress to hostler driving, and may advance to crane operator tasks based on experience. Training emphasized with safety first and strong teamwork.

The role requires outdoor work, shift flexibility, and adherence to OSHA standards. Competitive pay at market rates with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Open availability to day, swing, night, weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks (hostler) to move trailers in and out of loading docks.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and side loaders.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation following OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized rail yard and assist with inspections.
• Collaborate with rail staff to ensure timely loading/unloading.
