Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator (Terminal Operator) in Elwood, Illinois. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders and side loaders to move containers within the intermodal yard, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis in the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, or cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
