Job summary

ConGlobal ITS in Charleston, SC, is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move containers within the yard using hostlers, cranes, top loaders and side loaders. Open availability for day or night shifts, weekends, and flexible days off is required.

You will perform equipment inspections, coordinate with yard personnel, and maintain safety standards as part of daily logistics operations. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safety.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to schedule moves.
