Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC in Glendale, AZ is seeking an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move containers within our intermodal yard using hostlers, top loaders, and cranes. The role requires safety focus, outdoor work, and flexibility to cover all shifts.

You will join a team handling railcar and truck moves, perform equipment inspections, and coordinate with yard staff to keep freight moving on schedule. Valid driver’s license and pre-employment screening apply.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial setting.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.
• Basic communication and teamwork.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and stairs on/off railcars.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
