Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Terminal Manager for our Columbus, OH terminal. The role requires directing staff, overseeing dispatch, and ensuring service quality while managing monthly P&L and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Intermodal/Drayage, strong communication, and solid MS Office/AS400 skills. This is a full-time on-site leadership position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in Intermodal/Drayage.
• Knowledge of customs and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and AS400.
• Problem solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, delegate, and enforce policy.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff including clerical and labor.
• Recruit company drivers.
• Manage dispatch orders and moves.
• Oversee internal operating policies and procedures.
• Interact daily with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Accountable for monthly P&L review.
• Prepare production, quality, timeliness, and billing reports.
