Job summary

NFI Industries seeks a Director of Intermodal Operations to provide day-to-day strategic direction and leadership for the Intermodal unit. This role will partner with all levels of the organization, tailoring strategic plans to grow intermodal capabilities and service levels company-wide.

The selected candidate will build a world-class intermodal organization, align with sales and business development, and drive efficiencies across a growth-focused transport and logistics platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing 3PL transportation management.
• Direct Intermodal experience is a strong plus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the Intermodal business unit.
• Develop and execute intermodal strategy across NFI entities to increase synergy.
• Lead and build a service/customer-oriented culture with cost efficiency.
