Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd seeks a Lead to coach and develop a team of inland delivery coordinators, delivering exceptional customer experiences for inland shipments. You will guide hiring, performance reviews and support, while driving cost-aware intermodal routing and vendor partnerships.

You will oversee daily CRM case handling, ensure on-time/delivered schedules, and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues, improve service, and meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience with inland delivery operations and intermodal routing.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and QlikView or similar tools.
• Knowledge of hazmat, heavy/overweight and related regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of coordinators for Inland Delivery.
• Ensure timely and cost-efficient transport of containers by rail, truck, barge and feeder vessel.
• Hire, coach, conduct annual reviews and approve overtime/vacation.
• Review KPIs and improve customer service and operations to meet targets.
• Ensure proper routings for cost-effective intermodal operations.
• Monitor work orders and research cargo-related issues including claims.
• Ensure compliance with shipping laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and other offices to resolve issues.
• Provide training on new systems, regulations and requirements.
