Job summary

U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking an Intermodal Business Coordinator to manage intermodal freight from origin to delivery.

You will coordinate with rail and drayage vendors, understand customer processes, and ensure complete fulfillment of shipments in a team-based setting. The role requires 1–2 years in intermodal or freight operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermodal freight handling, shipping operations, or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• 1-2 years of industry experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in Alliance operating system.
• Build relationships with rail, dray, and customers to meet requirements.
• Manage customer business to ensure compliance and update shipment data daily.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery, resolve issues with shipments.
• Communicate issues outside SOPs to Alliance management.
• Train new team members on accounts handled.
