U.S. Multimodal Group, based in Kansas, seeks an Intermodal Business Coordinator to oversee freight from origin to delivery. You will cultivate rail and drayage relationships, manage shipments, and ensure customer requirements are met through our Alliance networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermodal freight handling or shipping operations.
• 1-2 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in Alliance operating system and update shipment data daily.
• Build relationships with rail, drayage providers, and customers to meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and SOPs; update data accordingly.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery; communicate issues to customers and teams.
• Escalate non-SOP issues to Alliance management and document resolutions.
• Train new team members on accounts handled.
