Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator in San Bernardino, CA to move shipping containers within our intermodal yard using hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders. You will help ensure safe, efficient container movements as part of daily logistics operations.

Starting pay is $24.65 per hour with paid training, competitive benefits, and long-term advancement opportunities. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be able to work outdoors in all weather, and pass

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis in the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform pre- and post-use equipment inspections for safety.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to plan moves.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
