Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator to move shipping containers safely within our intermodal yard. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top and side loaders to load, unload, and relocate containers as part of daily logistics tasks.

You must have experience with heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work outdoors in all weather, including weekends and holidays. A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics or industrial environments.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
• CDL or equipment certifications are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, or cranes to move and stack containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure safety.
• Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment following established procedures.
