Job summary

Schneider National is seeking a seasoned Intermodal Truck Driver to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN. Expect night shifts with heavy drop-and-hook operations within a trusted intermodal network.

The role features a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay, plus medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Fairburn, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN.
• Drive in and out of railyards within the specified states.
• Operate primarily on night shifts and maintain safe, efficient intermodal transport.
