Job summary

Schneider National, based in Georgia, seeks qualified intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. The work features mostly no-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations; drivers navigate railyards across multiple southeastern and southern states.

Mileage and load pay plus hourly pay on duty, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Tank endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Savannah, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate 95% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook workflow.
• Drive in and out of railyards across AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.
